GCHQ Scarborough: CSOS Irton Moor

Posted in > >

This site has been used for signals intelligence since the second world war and came under the auspices of GCHQ in the 1980s. Locally, tales abound of its clandestine nature, but the site is fairly accessible from the roadside and doesn't have the same heavy levels of security found at other sites such as Fylingdales.
