This started life as a AA battery and was used during the blitz on Liverpool and Burtonwood airfield using six 3.7 mounted guns.

It also had a radio room and vast store rooms. It was later used as a prisoner of war camp and a search light was fitted to the water tower incase of escape.

The building still stands today but is in a bad way.
