Once one of the most feared placenames in the country, today "Tyburn" has ceased to exist as a place, living on only in legend and in the names of local businesses. But once it was a veritable death factory - the place where the state chose to execute some of its most famous opponents, who died in ignomy alongside petty thieves and villains.
