The Dyfed Enigma / Broadhaven Triangle

Posted in >

During 1977, the craggy coastline of the Dyfed peninsula played host to what seemed to be a series of visitations from the skies. Perhaps most famously a group of primary school children reported seeing a silver, saucer-shaped craft on the ground in a field beyond their playing field. This was also followed by a small flurry of reports from other witnesses in the area which excited enough media interest to generate a couple of nicknames in the style of the times - the craft was known as "The Dyfed Enigma" (echoing, perhaps, "The Warminster Thing") and the area as a whole became our very own answer to Bermuda, revelling in the name "The Broadhaven Triangle."
